Lagos Afrihealth Conferences and Exhibitions 2025: Radiographers’ Day Highlights

On Friday, 20th June 2025, Radiographers took center stage at the Lagos Afrihealth Conferences and Exhibitions, marking a remarkable “Radiographers’ Day” with an impressive presence and impactful contributions.

The event featured a lineup of thought-provoking presentations:

  • Rad. Adolphus Eze delivered an inspiring paper on “The Role of Diagnostic Imaging in Repositioning Nigerian Healthcare for Global Appeal.”
  • Rad. Ogundare Olalekan addressed Medicolegal Issues in Healthcare, with a focus on professional ethics and professionalism.
  • Rad. Kupoluyi Chiamaka spoke on Radiography and the Role of Radiographers in Healthcare Delivery.

Recognition Awards were presented to Chief Mr. F. Ogodo and Chief Mrs. M. K. Omiyi for their unwavering support and outstanding contributions to the healthcare sector, particularly in advancing the field of radiography.

In another first for the conference, the Lagos State ARN Chairperson, Rad. Mary O. Olayinka, chaired the inaugural Essay Writing Competition, adding an exciting intellectual dimension to the day’s activities.

The ARN Lagos State Branch executives, members, and radiography students turned out in impressive numbers, showcasing unity, professionalism, and the growing influence of radiographers in Nigeria’s healthcare landscape.
