In line with its commitment to engaging and inspiring the younger generation, the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN) Lagos State Branch executives, alongside members, graced the 10th Induction Ceremony of newly graduated Radiographers at the University of Lagos.
The event featured our active member, Dr. Robert Akhigbe, as the Guest Speaker. Delivering an insightful lecture on Professional Ethics, Dr. Akhigbe urged the newly inducted radiographers to be exemplary ambassadors of the profession, identify and address challenges within the field, and give back to the institution that shaped their careers.
Following the administration of the professional oath by Registrar, Prof. Mark Okeji, the National President, Dr. Musa Dambele, warmly welcomed the inductees and presented an award to the Best Graduating Student. Similarly, the Lagos State Branch recognized excellence by presenting the award for Best Graduand in Radiographic Technique, handed over by State Treasurer, Rad. Tawakalitu Olagunju, representing the State Chairman.
This memorable occasion reflects the branch’s unwavering dedication to recognizing excellence, mentoring emerging professionals, and shaping the future of radiography in Nigeria.
